By accessing or using Lumio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lumio is a social media analytics platform that allows users to connect their Instagram Business or Creator accounts to view statistics, metrics, and insights about their content performance.

3. Account Requirements

To use Lumio, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Have a valid Instagram Business or Creator account
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Social Media Authorization

When you connect your Instagram account to Lumio:

  • You authorize us to access your account data through Meta's APIs
  • You confirm you have the authority to grant this access
  • You agree to comply with Instagram's and Meta's terms of service
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Facebook settings or Lumio dashboard

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Lumio and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your social media content remains your property; we only access it to provide the Service.

7. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate analytics data from Instagram's API. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed. Metrics may have delays of 24-48 hours and are subject to Instagram's data availability.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, including changes to Meta's APIs.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ERROR-FREE.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
